Supporting Colleague Development

Supporting our colleagues' development and future career paths is critical to our business success. Recognising the importance of skilled professionals in maintaining a competitive edge, we have made a significant investment in becoming both an internal and external provider for LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) training. By doing so, we not only enhance our workforce's capabilities but also contribute to their personal and professional growth.

This initiative underscores our commitment to fostering a learning culture and providing opportunities for advancement, which are essential for achieving long-term business objectives.

We are proud to celebrate the success of our colleague, James Hawkins, who has recently passed his LGV Cat C with the NSEC Driver Training Academy with zero minors, all through our in-house sponsorship scheme. James's accomplishment is a testament to the effectiveness of our training programs and our dedication to supporting our employees in their pursuit of excellence. Our sponsorship scheme is designed to remove financial barriers and provide comprehensive training to ensure our team members can achieve their career goals. James’s achievement not only highlights his hard work and determination but also reflects the high standards of our training academy.

Over the years, we have supported more than 30 colleagues in upskilling to become professional drivers, and we are committed to continuing this support. This initiative not only benefits our employees but also strengthens our local economy and value chain. By investing in our workforce, we ensure a steady supply of skilled drivers who can meet the demands of the industry. Furthermore, our training services are available to external businesses, offering them the same high-quality training that has proven successful for our team.

If your business is interested in LGV training, please contact us at enquiries@nsecltd.co.uk. Together, we can drive success and growth in our community.
