Weston College and NSEC are delighted to present an exciting opportunity to participate in a Sector Based Work Academy tailored to multiple job roles available at NSEC. Join us as we embark on this journey to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge for success in various positions within the company.

During this two-week program, we are dedicated to equipping you with essential employability skills to ensure your success in your guaranteed interview with NSEC. In the second week, our focus will be on honing your customer service skills, a critical requirement for NSEC staff and essential for success in virtually all employment sectors. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities are paramount in today's workforce, making this segment of the program invaluable for your professional development.

By the end of this training programme, participants will have acquired the necessary employability and customer service skills to excel in their role as Loaders. They will be equipped to represent both NSEC and the council effectively while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of residents during waste collection activities.

Role Of A Loader

You will spend the majority of your time on the rounds ensuring that all waste placed out for collection is removed, whilst assisting residents as required.

You will work with your crew to achieve this, whilst at all times ensuring that both NSEC and the council are represented well. Health and Safety is paramount in the refuse collection industry, and you will always ensure that both yourself and your colleagues are operating in a safe way.
