NSEC Attends Whitespace Connect Event

North Somerset Environment Company (NSEC) attended this week’s Whitespace Work Software Connect Event, a key gathering for professionals across the UK’s waste management sector.

The event brings together local authorities, service providers and industry experts for a day focused on innovation, collaboration and shared learning. Designed to support the ongoing evolution of environmental services, Whitespace Connect centres on themes such as digital transformation, service improvement and operational efficiency, with a mix of presentations, interactive sessions and networking opportunities that encourage open discussion and knowledge exchange.

Representing NSEC at the event was Project Manager, Shane Young, who found the day thoroughly engaging and informative whilst exploring how technology and data-driven approaches are shaping the future of environmental services.

The event provided valuable insight into best practice, real-world project experiences and emerging solutions, while also offering the opportunity to build new connections with other local authorities and partners, as well as catching up with friends and colleagues from around the sector.

Events like Whitespace Connect play an important role in supporting continuous improvement, and NSEC’s participation reflects its commitment to learning, innovation and delivering high-quality services across North Somerset.
