Fleet Manager (Interim Position)

We are immediately seeking an Interim Fleet Manager for a twelve-month period working as part of our Senior Leadership Team, responsible for the strategic delivery of our Fleet Department encompassing fleet and driver compliance, vehicle workshop operations, and procurement of vehicles, plant, and equipment. We’re keen to hear from experienced and/or qualified candidates with HGV fleet and compliance management experience (Transport Managers CPC essential), coupled with an engineering background. You’ll take the lead on continuous improvement and sustaining our green-banded operator’s licence.
Waste Transfer Operative (Plant)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at North Somerset Environment Company within our Waste Transfer Station, based at Aisecome Way, Weston-super-Mare. We are looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Operative to join our team at NSEC. The operation is 4 on 4 off shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays. You will be on a shift pattern to be agreed from Monday to Sunday .
Key Responsibilities
- You must have loading shovel operator or 360 grab handler ticket and have a keen eye for safety. The role involves the movement, sorting and transfer of waste and recycling materials collected and tipped off by waste hauliers.
